PADI Open Water Certification involves three steps:
- Knowledge Development: Learned through PADI online training or by purchasing the textbook and taking classes at Dive Experience.
- Confined Water Dives: Getting used to your equipment and SCUBA basics in shallow water.
- Open Water Dives: Four open water dives where you will show off the new skills you have learned.
Dive Experience can train you on all three areas, however, if you want a head start, Enroll with the on-line eLearning with PADI and save your vacation time to spend in the water!

Open Water Scuba Instruction
P.A.D.I. Open Water Certification courses are taught weekly and monthly, In as little as three days. A lifetime certification may be completed for only $525.
An extended course is also available, which takes place over the course of Sundays. Evening classes are also available upon request. Advance reservations with deposit are recommended. Course fees include all equipment except mask, fins, snorkel and textbook.
